Corvette Color & Finish Pairings
Every Corvette color can be finished in chrome. We also offer polished + clear coat, brushed aluminum, satin and gloss finishes. Factory-color matching and custom-color + black two-tone combinations are available.
Torch Red / Red Mist
Brushed aluminum, polished + clear coat, chrome, satin black, gloss black, or a dark center with polished lip.
Rapid Blue / Riptide Blue
Brushed aluminum, polished, chrome, satin gunmetal, gloss black, or blue details paired with black.
Arctic White
Gloss black, polished, chrome, satin bronze, or a white center with polished outer lip.
Black / Carbon Flash
Polished, chrome, brushed aluminum, satin bronze, or a contrasting two-tone finish.
Sea Wolf / Hypersonic Gray

Corvette Wheel Questions
How does the production and payment process work?+
To begin production, customers can pay a 30% deposit. Alternatively, you may first pay a $200 engineering drawing fee so our team can prepare drawings for design and fitment confirmation. This $200 is not an additional charge—it will be credited toward the remaining 70% balance once the order proceeds. After the design is confirmed, we will move forward with production.
What is the most common flush fitment for each C8 model?+

This is only a rough reference for flush fitment. Everyone has a different idea of what “flush” means. The best approach is to take one simple measurement: measure the distance from the wheel or tire to your target fitment position.


What wheel sizes can I upgrade to on a C8 Stingray?+
When the correct offset and tire profile are used, 21×9 / 22×12 can be built as a no-body-modification street setup on a stock-body Stingray.
If you choose an upgraded wheel size, our engineers will recommend the appropriate tire size so the overall rolling diameter, fender clearance and front/rear balance remain within the intended range.
Can the factory tires be reused with VORX wheels?+
Can Z06 or E-Ray wheel specifications be used on a Stingray?+
No.
The C8 Stingray and Z51 use a narrower body and different fitment geometry than the widebody Z06, E-Ray and ZR1. The factory wheel specifications reflect that difference.

Trying to use the wider, lower-offset Z06 / E-Ray geometry on a Stingray can create clearance problems at the fender, liner or suspension. If the goal is simply the deeper Z06-style look, the correct solution is a Stingray-specific width and offset that creates the same visual depth without copying the widebody fitment.
How do you make sure the wheels clear my brakes?+
We already have the complete OEM fitment data for the C8 brake packages we support: Stingray, Z51, Z06, Z07, E-Ray and ZR1, including the relevant iron and carbon-ceramic configurations.
Overall wheel and tire clearance is also reviewed for steering lock and expected suspension travel before the face design is finalized.
Do I still need spacers with VORX wheels?+
If you are running standard off-the-shelf wheels and want a more aggressive position, spacers are often the easiest way to move the wheel outward.
With VORX custom wheels, the spacer is unnecessary. Every wheel is built to the required width, offset and brake package, so the final position is machined directly into the wheel specification.

- Spacers add another joint and another set of tolerances between the hub and wheel.
- Poor hardware, incorrect installation or insufficient stud engagement can reduce the safety margin.
- Moving the wheel outward also changes scrub radius and bearing load, so the final geometry should be chosen deliberately rather than added afterward.

Can the factory TPMS and valve hardware be reused?+
If you want to keep the factory wheels as a complete second set, we can also build the VORX set around a separate compatible TPMS package.
What is the difference between one-piece and two-piece forged wheels?+

Why choose forged wheels for a Corvette?+
A recurring concern among C8 owners is cracking of some factory cast wheels, including reports from normal road use. A forged wheel gives us a much stronger material foundation while also allowing the finished wheel to be lighter than a comparable cast design.
For VORX, the bigger advantage is customization. We start from a solid 6061-T6 forged blank and machine the wheel for the exact Corvette: width, offset, spoke structure, hub pad and brake clearance are all determined for that application instead of forcing a generic wheel to fit with spacers or compromises.
In short: stronger, lighter and purpose-built for the car.
What is the maximum lip depth and the deepest concave you can achieve?+
If your goal is the maximum lip depth or the deepest concave possible, tell us before we begin the engineering drawing.
There is no single lip-depth or concavity number that applies to every C8. A Stingray front, Stingray rear and Z06 / ZR1 rear all have different packaging limits.

Can VORX match factory Corvette colors?+
Yes. We keep the factory Corvette color references used for our wheel finishes. If you want an OEM body color, just tell us the color name and we can work from that reference.
What is the difference between chrome and polished finishes?+

All Corvette colors can be paired with a chrome finish. For most street cars, polished + clear coat is the easier finish to live with while keeping a bright metallic appearance.
