How VORX custom forged wheels are made

From forged aluminum
to your exact fitment.

VORX custom forged wheels combine vehicle-specific engineering, forged 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC machining, hand preparation and durable custom finishes. Each stage serves fitment, strength, weight and visual detail.

Custom wheel engineering

Every made-to-order VORX forged wheel starts with the vehicle: brake clearance, bolt pattern, center bore, width, offset, load requirements and the customer’s preferred stance. CAD modeling and fitment review define the specification before production begins.

6061-T6 forged aluminum

The process begins with a forged 6061-T6 aluminum blank—not a cast wheel. Pressure-formed material provides the dense, consistent foundation needed for a strong, lightweight custom wheel before its final geometry is machined.

CNC turning and milling

The forged blank is turned to establish the rim profile, then multi-axis CNC machining creates the spokes, windows, hub bore and mounting features. Material is removed strategically to balance strength, brake clearance and weight.

Hand preparation
and detailing.

After machining, each custom forged wheel is deburred and its surfaces are prepared by hand. Brushed, polished and coated finishes depend on careful edge refinement and consistent surface preparation before color is applied.

05

Powder coating
and custom finishes.

After cleaning and surface preparation, electrically charged powder is sprayed onto the grounded wheel for even coverage. The coating is then oven-cured into a durable protective layer. Brushed, polished, transparent and multi-color details can be combined to create the final VORX specification.

Finish inspected.

Before release, critical dimensions—including width, offset, bolt pattern, center bore and brake-clearance specification—are checked against the order. Runout, surface consistency and visible finish details are reviewed before the wheel carries the VORX mark.
