VORX / CORVETTE ENGINEERING
A forged wheel for a Corvette should do more than bolt on. The complete specification must account for the exact model, brake package, tire plan, stance and intended use.
01 / THE PLATFORM
Not every Corvette is the same.
Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06 and E-Ray applications can differ in brake hardware, body configuration, suspension, hub position and performance intent. Those variables change the correct diameter, width, offset, barrel and spoke profile.
- Model and trim: establishes the platform and factory geometry.
- Brake package: determines caliper and barrel-clearance requirements.
- Body configuration: changes the available width and desired wheel position.
- Suspension: affects ride height, compression clearance and stance.
- Tire strategy: defines the front-to-rear system, not just the wheel.
- Intended use: aligns the specification with street, show or track priorities.
02 / DEPTH & CLEARANCE
Concavity is engineered, not selected.
Concavity is not a preset style level. It emerges from the relationship between brake clearance, hub position, wheel width, offset, spoke path and structural requirements. A deeper profile is only successful when it preserves the correct clearances and load intent.
Brake clearance comes first
Spoke profile and barrel selection are developed around verified caliper clearance before production approval. Final fitment should be confirmed from the actual vehicle specification rather than a one-size-fits-all template.
Fit that serves the car
Sizing and offsets are considered as a complete front-to-rear system. The goal is a wheel position and tire relationship that look intentional while respecting real mechanical limits.
03 / YOUR DIRECTION
Three attitudes. One Corvette.
OEM+ — refined presence
A cleaner, more intentional stance that respects the original character of the Corvette. Best for daily street use, subtle fit and a factory-minded visual result.
Performance — function first
A balanced specification built around tire strategy, intended use and confident clearance. Ideal for street and occasional track driving.
Aggressive — maximum attitude
A bolder stance and deeper visual profile, engineered within the vehicle’s actual constraints for maximum presence without ignoring function.
Diameter, width, face profile, finish, center-cap treatment and selected engraving options can then be resolved around the chosen direction.
Your Corvette. Your specification. Start with the model, trim, brake package and stance you want. VORX will shape the engineering brief around the actual car.
